General enquiries

We use encryption for voice recordings and data transmission. We also anonymise data to comply with the GDPR.

There are two ways to do this. For example, you can use a mid-call tool – which you can access during the call to gather real-time information if the customer asks for it. Alternatively, you can use our integrations with software providers and calendar tools. This is useful for making reservations, bookings or processing other information.

Extremely accurate. Fred uses state-of-the-art AI technology and sounds human (so not like a bot). Using transcripts, you can see what most of the questions are about when people call, and use prompts to ensure that responses are optimised.

Writing the prompt for your AI assistant is very important. The right prompt ensures better responses from your AI assistant. Take a look at our guide page on how to write a good prompt.

Integrations

The built-in Automation Platform helps you create powerful AI automation workflows without any coding. Build flows that enhance your AI-powered calling system by processing variables before calls, handling post-call actions, and creating seamless integrations with your existing tools.

No. You log in with your own HeyFred account over a secure connection. You never have to copy or paste a key.

Yes. Everything stays inside your verified account. The AI only reaches your own data, and it asks for confirmation before anything that actually sends something, such as a text message or a call.

Yes. A web request reaches any tool or service available over the internet, including your own internal systems. For common services such as Google Sheets and calendars there are ready-made connections.

You ask in plain language what went wrong. The AI reads the execution history, points at the step that failed and then retries only that step. Steps that already succeeded are not repeated, so a text message or call never goes out twice.
